Pueblo Crime Stoppers is pleased to make available college scholarship awards to any accredited Colorado College/ University.

The purpose of these scholarships is to foster greater interest in the criminal justice system as a career and to enhance local law enforcement by encouraging local students to pursue a college degree in this area. Scholarships are made possible by the many generous donations of local citizens to our program, fundraising by the Pueblo Crime Stoppers Board of Directors and through.the cooperation of our local crime prevention officials and organizations.

HARVEY HILVITZ

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT

HARVEY HILVITZ - a longtime member of Pueblo Crime Stoppers loved the organization and had a passion for the people who supported it. He especially had a soft heart for law enforcement as he understood the sacrifice that officers make every day to keep others safe.

Pueblo Crime Stoppers cannot think of a better way to honor Harvey’s memory than by memorializing his name on a scholarship that would financially help someone in law enforcement further their education. We, as board members of Pueblo Crime Stoppers, feel this is a very humbling scholarship to remind the rest of us that we can continue the good work that Harvey left behind.
